Robyn Stewart

Robyn is an adjunct professor with Augusta Technical College and a full-time faculty member with the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension System.

 

She began as the Lincoln CountyExtension Coordinator and Agriculture and Natural Resource Agent 2019 and spent the prior two years working in upstate New York as a regional sales specialist for Purina animal nutrition.

 

She holds a Master’s Degree in Equine Science from Middle Tennessee State University and is an alumna of the University of Georgia’s Animal Science program. Her graduate research on forage quality collaborating with the Standlee Hay Company was conducted at the PurinaAnimal Nutrition Research Farm in St. Louis, Missouri, and presented at the Equine Science Symposium in 2017. Robyn’s professional experience in the industry also includes work with the Tryon Equine Hospital, William H. Miner Agriculture Research Institute, and several Girl Scout horse programs. She rode horses for an Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) team in high school, helped found the UGA Club Eventing Team, and has competed extensively in hunter/jumpers, eventing, ranch horse, reining, and more.

 

Her most recent successes were winning the 2019 Region 16 Arabian Horse Association Champion Ranch Horse and Reserve Champion Reining Horse titles with her 16-year-old Arabian gelding, Webb Cyte RW.
